The Journal of Biomedical & Space Sciences (JBSS) is pleased to announce its official launch.

JBSS is an international peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research at the intersection of biomedical sciences, space medicine, aerospace engineering, and space-related technologies.

The journal aims to provide a global platform for researchers, clinicians, engineers, and scientists working in areas such as:

  • Aerospace medicine
  • Space physiology and human performance
  • Biomedical engineering
  • Space systems engineering
  • Microgravity research
  • Translational and clinical medicine in extreme environments
  • Artificial intelligence and advanced technologies applied to space missions

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process and are published under an open access model to promote global scientific knowledge exchange.

Researchers from around the world are invited to submit original research articles, reviews, technical reports, and interdisciplinary studies.

Submissions are now open for Volume 1 (2026).
